This is definitely one of my favorite Dawn costumes. It is a completely original design, and was created by combining elements from a number of different images of Dawn.

The bodice is made out of turquoise two way stretch PVC. Since my sewing machine refused to sew PVC, the top was stitched entirely by hand. It has a series of silver grommets in the back, and laces with a wide white satin ribbon. The collar was also made from the same material and a silver 'O' ring, and ties in the back.

The skirt is made of white cotton with turquoise bias tape trim. It zips up the back with an invisible zipper. It is slightly mermaid style, and is longer in back than in front. I raised the front hem slightly so I wouldn't trip over it onstage.

The arm accessories (I still have no idea what to call them) are made of turquoise PVC and white cotton. They were draped, rather than flat patterned, and I was very pleased at how they turned out. The white skull design on the cuffs was hand painted with dimensional fabric paint, and read incredibly well from a distance. I purchased two red roses at a local craft store and used invisible tape to keep them in place around my wrists.
