This is set of school robes based upon the Harry Potter series of books. The commissioner chose to be a member of Ravenclaw House, and we based the design on Mary GrandPré's book illustrations, rather than the movie costumes. The robes were made of a cotton blend, since they were meant to be worn in the Georgia summer heat, but needed enough weight to flow properly. They fasten at the neckline with a frog closure, and the book-style patch was purchased on Ebay and attached post-construction.
