Icarus Studios's Fallen Earth Promotional Party at GDC 2007

I was one of the stylists for models used in Icarus Studio's Fallen Earth promotional party at the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco, 2007. I and another stylist purchased, modified and created outfits and accessories to be worn by models at the party. We did this in a very limited amount of time (two weeks), with a fairly small budget, and without knowing the exact sizes and appearances of the models who would be wearing them. I was unable to attend the GDC myself, but was told that the costumes were successful and the models were a hit. The picture at right is by G. Scott Singleton, courtesy of MOGArmy.

Burning Coal Theater's 2007 Production of Hamlet

I was lead costume designer for Burning Coal Theater's Hamlet in 2007. This was a very challenging project, as I was required to dress a large number of actors, most of whom were playing multiple characters, on a very small budget. The director, Jerome Davis, also requested that the majority of the characters wear business suits, items which are generally expensive and time-consuming to make. Because of this, most of the costumes for this production were thrifted, then modified to better fit with the character design. There were a handful of costumes, those for the Ghost, and the dead Ophelia and Polonius in particular, that had to be made entirely from scratch. The Ghost also required specific custom dyeing to achieve the correct look. The picture at left is by the Right Image Photography for Indy Week.
