These two doublets were designed in a similar style for the same commissioner. The first is made out of a green silk velvet with a burnout pattern of vines and leaves, and is trimmed with gold braid. It is lined in black cotton and closes via loops and brass knotwork buttons. The black doublet is made out of a cotton velvet and is trimmed with silver braid. It is left unlined and closes with loops and stamped pewter buttons.

The black doublet was meant to be daily LARP wear for the commissioner, while the green doublet was created specifically for a masquerade ball. The domino mask beneath the two doublets was handmade to match the green doublet, as were the black and silver horns the commissioner is wearing in the first picture. The green doublet and domino took first prize for Best Male Costume in the costume contest at the masked ball.
