This costume is really just bits and pieces of other costumes I pulled out of my closet for a photoshoot. It incorporates Katrina's polonaise, the skirt, shoes, tights and fascinator of The Countess, and a red satin, pearl-buckled belt made specifically for the occasion. Overall, the effect is something akin to what a steampunk carnival performer might wear, which is why I christened it the Steampunk Carnival Performer. I was so pleased with how everything looked together, that this costume has become one of my favorites in my steampunk arsenal. I suspect I'll get plenty more mileage out of it before I'm done.
